San Francisco Spring

Spring is a colorful time when the plants bloom and are putting their energies into ensuring the success of next generation.  San Francisco Botanical Gardens has a large collection of plants to keep a Photographer with a macro lens happy for hours.  Visiting the gardens early in the morning is rewarding when you can see the dew drops on the flowers which add a unique dimension to the flowers.

Another place to visit is the Conservatory of Flowers which is near Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park.  It has a large collection of tropical flowers and I love their collection of Orchids and Pitcher Plants.

If you would like to visit these places, here is a link to the location.
